What we believe
A home where choice and dignity come first.
Thorough Care provides direct support to adult men diagnosed with developmental disabilities, in an environment where each client's rights and personal choice are respected. We believe independence and self-direction should never be sacrificed because of a diagnosis or a preconceived idea of what someone can do.
Clients help shape their own individualized, person-centered plan. Our supports focus on skill-building that maximizes each person's potential to live as independently as possible — and to become a valued, contributing member of the community they've chosen. We use the Support Intensity Scale (SIS) to tailor learning and support to what works for each person.

Placing a son or brother in a group home is one of the biggest decisions a family makes. It's rarely made in a bright office at noon — it's made late at night, quietly, after everyone else is asleep. We answer the questions plainly and never rush a family through this.

- Walk through funding, referrals, and the SIS assessment together.
